Transitional Services are designed to support individuals and families during the critical move-in period. These services can include:

• Moving costs (professional movers or U-Haul)

• Security and damage deposits

• Application fees

• Furniture, mattresses, and household supplies

• Packing/unpacking assistance

• Storage unit coverage

The goal is to create a smooth, safe, and supported move into stable housing — and this year, eligible individuals can receive up to $5,000 in covered expenses.

💸 What’s New in 2025?

Thanks to updated program funding, the maximum benefit amount has increased to $5,000. This expanded limit allows for more flexibility in:

• Getting high-quality furniture and home essentials

• Covering unexpected costs like deposits or delivery fees

• Providing a stronger foundation for long-term housing stability

🧾 What Do I Need to Qualify?

To access transitional services, individuals must:

1. Be receiving a qualifying waiver (such as CADI or BI)

2. Have a support plan or case manager in place

3. Not have received Transitional Services in the past 3 years
